Training on providing and exploiting digital documents for staff

The content of the training program includes: introduction to the Information Center - Library website, information services, instructions on how to access virtual private networks (VPN); introduction and instructions on accessing and exploiting the Web of Knowledge, SAGE, SAGE Research Methods databases; introduction and instructions on accessing the Taylor & Francis database.

Web of Knowledge is a powerful tool for searching and evaluating the quality of scientific works based on scientific citation data from more than 12,000 leading journals in the world updated weekly, including: 8,060 journals in the fields of natural sciences and technology, 2,697 journals in the fields of social sciences, 1,497 journals in the fields of arts and humanities and more than 150,000 conference documents with a retrospective depth up to 1900.

SAGE Premier Collection is a comprehensive collection of high-quality, high-impact research journals, including publications from over 200 academic research societies around the world. SAGE Research Methods (SRM) is a professional tool designed to support researchers, faculty, and students in their research projects. Taylor & Francis is an international academic publisher, publishing over 1,500 high-quality e-journals that are regularly reviewed and cited by industry bodies and renowned researchers worldwide. In addition, Taylor & Francis publishes around 1,800 e-books annually, with a back catalogue of over 20,000 specialist subject titles.

In addition, at the training session, staff and lecturers were also instructed on exploiting and sharing digital resources at the Information Center - Library, Hanoi National University. This training program has created conditions for staff and lecturers to have more opportunities to access and enhance the exploitation of electronic databases to serve research and teaching work.
