On May 13, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu - Vice Principal of the University - had a meeting and worked with Ms. Heather Mhairi Riddell - New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam.
On May 13, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu - Vice Principal of the University - had a meeting and worked with Ms. Heather Mhairi Riddell - New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam.The Vice Rector and the Ambassador discussed opportunities for cooperation in research and training between New Zealand universities and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu expressed his hope that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will have the opportunity to cooperate with New Zealand universities in a number of majors such as Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, etc. The New Zealand Ambassador said that scholarship opportunities for Vietnamese students to New Zealand this year will be expanded, including a scholarship program specifically for Vietnam. She affirmed that she will soon contact and propose to New Zealand universities to cooperate with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities based on the University's proposal, which is: jointly research and exchange to develop programs on new majors, cooperate in organizing seminars on urbanization issues, social issues, etc. The Vice Rector thanked the Ambassador for visiting the University and hoped that the Ambassador would continue to be a bridge to promote cooperation between the universities. On this occasion, the Vice Principal also invited the Ambassador to talk to the school's students about international issues.
