An intimate but very frank discussion on the issue of young cadres and scientific research, organized by the school's Youth Union at the 5th floor Hall of Building H, took place on the morning of May 12, 2011.The 10 presentations at the seminar focused on the issue of scientific research by young staff of the school. The issues discussed were all specific and close to each young staff, especially young lecturers in the school. The issues that were discussed enthusiastically included: The current state of scientific research by young staff, causes, solutions, the role of the Youth Union in scientific research by young staff, recommendations to the school to promote the scientific research movement of young staff, research methods, ways to find research materials, experiences to participate in international conferences, etc. Speaking at the seminar, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu - Vice Rector - shared very sincerely and passionately with the young staff of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. According to Associate Professor Vu Duc Nghieu, the path of science is a glorious path but also full of hardships. To be able to walk on that path, each young cadre must have a love for science to create passion and diligence in research. To become a true scientist, it requires perseverance, patience, and sometimes even failures. The discussion was evaluated by many young cadres as friendly but also very frank and useful, similar activities need to be held more often to improve the quality of scientific research among young cadres.
