At the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim briefly introduced the history of training and research of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as a leading place for training in social sciences and humanities in Vietnam. The University has welcomed many foreign professors to research and teach. He proposed the implementation of cooperation between the University and Curtin University.
Prof. Anna Parkin highly appreciated the above proposal and said that Curtin University also wishes to build cooperation with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Initially, the two sides will cooperate on the basis of exchanging training programs in the fields of International Relations, Management Science and Tourism. On that basis, the two sides will sign a cooperation agreement and move towards specific activities in the future.
Curtin is Western Australia’s (WA) largest and most multicultural university, with over 50,000 students from over 130 countries choosing to study at Curtin University across its four core schools of Business, Science and Engineering, Health Sciences, and Humanities. Curtin has an international presence, with overseas campuses in Singapore, Sarawak (Malaysia) and Sydney.
