Implementing the Plan to organize the "First Academic Advisory Competition of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities", the Organizing Committee of the Competition launched the "Asking questions and creating situations for academic advisors" contest exclusively for students with the purpose of allowing students to participate in building situations that need to be solved regarding academic advisory work; thereby selecting typical situations to make exam questions for academic advisors to compete.The contest organization plan is as follows: A. EXAM RULES 1. Contestants: All full-time students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Contestants can be 1 student or a group of students (no limit on the number) and from here on, they are collectively referred to as contestants. 2. Contest content: - Contestants participate by setting up situations that need to be solved on issues within the scope of the CVHT's work duties (see regulations on the CVHT's work duties in Article 39, Training Regulations at VNU issued under Decision No. 3079/QD-DHQGHN, dated October 26, 2010), in which, focusing on the relationship between academic advisors and students in guiding on regulations, training programs, study planning, study methods and career orientation. - There is no limit on the number of contest situations of 1 contestant. 3. How to enter the contest: There are 2 ways to enter the contest - Candidates access the School's website at ussh.edu.vn to enter the contest. Details on how to enter the contest are available on the website. - If not entering the contest directly on the website, candidates write on A4 paper, type clearly, write full name, student code, contact phone number, send in a sealed envelope, write on the outside "Contest entry Ask questions, pose situations for academic advisors" and send to the Center for Journalism and Communication (2nd floor, building H). The articles on paper will be uploaded to the website by the Organizing Committee as direct contest entries on the website. 4. Awards 4.1 Awards voted by the public (staff, students, guests) directly on the website - 05 awards for situations voted by the public the most: 200,000 VND/award. - 01 separate prize from the Center for Journalism and Communication worth 500,000 VND and a scholarship of 50% tuition reduction for the class "

Journalism writing skills” for the situation that receives the most public votes. 4.2 Awards by the Jury - General awards, including: + 01 first prize worth 400,000 VND + 02 second prizes worth 300,000 VND/prize + 05 third prizes worth: 200,000 VND/prize + 10 consolation prizes worth 100,000 VND/prize - Individual awards worth 100,000 VND/prize for the following subjects: + 01 award for the situation that is scored by the Jury to achieve at least 80% of the maximum score and takes the exam earliest - based on the time recorded on the website. This award does not apply to cases of written exams + 04 awards for the situation that is scored by the Jury to achieve at least 80% of the maximum score and takes the exam earliest, considered separately for each course. - The award is given to the competition situation so a candidate can receive many awards. - Contestant Contestants have the opportunity to be invited to join the Jury in the judging process in the "Responsibility" round and the "Creativity" round of the first Academic Counseling Competition. This invitation is based on the quality of the contestants' entries and is decided by the Jury. 5. Scoring method 5.1 Awards voted by the public - Based on the number of votes from the public for the question/situation to award prizes. - Cases proven to violate the rules of the vote will not be awarded. - The conclusion of the website's administration on the number of votes is the final conclusion. 5.2 Awards are judged by the Jury according to the following criteria - Points for the topic: Reflects the greatest concern of the majority of students. The greatest concern here is measured by the topic with the most situations mentioned in this competition. Scoring level: 10 points - Points for content: Mentioning many contents in the regulations, many aspects in the relationship between CVHT and students. Scoring level: Maximum is 20 points - Points for the way of building the situation: Dramatic (converted into a staged skit), constructive, humorous. Scoring level: Maximum is 20 points. B.
