Attending the Opening Ceremony were Ms. Dang Tan Huong, Manager of Australian Government Scholarship Alumni in Vietnam; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim, Party Secretary, Vice Principal of the School, representatives of functional departments, training units and nearly 100 students of the QH-2015-X course who are directly participating in the course.
Information literacy for first-year students is a course that aims to provide students with the basic knowledge to start their academic life in a university environment, as well as equip them with some knowledge and skills to implement lifelong self-learning.
Project faculty launch
This course project lasted for nearly 6 months and was conducted methodically and elaborately, from program development, communication organization to enrollment and training. It is expected that the project will have 3 courses, each course lasts for 5 sessions, and has started teaching since October 2015, every Saturday and Sunday in the computer room, BC building, University of Social Sciences and Humanities. In the future, the information competency course is expected to be included in the undergraduate training program for all students.
