The figures reflect the activities of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in the 2008-2009 school year, extracted from the Report on the implementation of the 2008-2009 school year and the directions and tasks for the 2009-2010 school year at the Conference of delegates of the school's staff and civil servants on October 24, 2009.
1. Personnel organization work
- The school has 14 faculties, 01 affiliated department, 12 research centers, 8 functional departments, the Training Quality Assurance Center and the Museum of Anthropology.
- Total number of staff: 488, including 351 teaching staff and 137 administrative staff
- Number of teaching staff: 351, including 06 professors and 57 associate professors (17.9%); number of people with postgraduate degrees: 280 (79.7%), including 129 doctors and doctors of science (36.7%) and 151 masters
- The average age of the teaching staff is 39.9.
- Recruited 30 new staff, including 26 lecturers
- 02 teachers were awarded the title of People's Teacher and 04 teachers were awarded the title of Excellent Teacher
- Sending 120 staff abroad to teach, study and research, including 32 staff doing PhD research and 04 staff studying for master's degrees abroad.

2. University training, student affairs and inspection work
- University admission: 1509 full-time students, 957 part-time students
- Enrollment for the second course of the international training program "2+2": 39 Chinese students
- Enrollment for the first course of International Linguistics: 19 students, including 03 foreign students
- Full-time graduation certificates: 1,120 students of QH-2005-X course (0.2% Excellent, 15.7% Good, 68.9% Fair, 15.2% Average)
- Non-formal graduation certificates: 967 students (1.2% Excellent, 55.3% Good, 42.5% Average, 0.9% Average)
- Foreign students: 517
- 1073 students received scholarships to encourage learning
- 234 students received sponsored scholarships
- 488 poor students get tuition reduction
3. Postgraduate training and scientific research
- New recruitment: 683 graduate students and 54 PhD students
- Master's training increased by 22.4%
- Doctoral training increased by 42.1%
- The scale of postgraduate training is equal to over 25% of the total scale of regular training.
- 29 doctoral training programs, including 01 program of international standard
- 30 master's training programs, including 01 international program, 03 joint programs with Toulouse II University and 01 domestic joint program
- Has been and is building the following majors: Master of Social Work, Master of Management Science, Doctor of Archival Studies
- Implemented 05 state-level projects and 81 projects at all levels
- Accepted 97 projects at all levels, signed phase II research contracts for 46 projects
- Organized 20 scientific seminars and workshops, including 13 international seminars.
- Announced 65 works at conferences
- 10% of students in the whole school participated in student scientific research in 2008
- 19% of students in the whole school participated in scientific research in 2009.
4. International cooperation
- Signed 11 more cooperation documents with foreign partners
- Implementing 03 new international projects: Religious Studies (in collaboration with Missio Aachen Institute, Germany), Policy Research and Analysis (with Rosa Luxemburg Foundation) and Joint Master's Training Project in Hotel Management (with Toulouse II University).
5. Political and ideological work
- Admitted 17 cadres and 43 students to the Party.
