“10 days for 1000 years”

On the morning of September 30, the Faculty of Oriental Studies organized a ceremony to launch volunteer tour guides for free to serve the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi.
On the morning of September 30, the Faculty of Oriental Studies organized a ceremony to launch volunteer tour guides for free to serve the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi.With the slogan "10 days for 1000 years", more than 90 volunteers participating in free tour guides for visitors were divided into 3 groups to guide at 3 relic sites: Temple of Literature, Imperial Citadel, Ngoc Son Temple. Volunteers participating in the program are dynamic and enthusiastic students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies and some other faculties such as: Tourism, History, Linguistics. These are students with good knowledge of history, culture and can use one of 5 foreign languages: English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai. To ensure that the volunteer activities take place safely and effectively, the volunteers were reminded by the Faculty Board and teachers in charge of issues such as: content of the presentation, political will and health maintenance... Before the day of joining the volunteer army, there were 4 training sessions with the content of: Vietnamese culture, the duties of a tour guide, specific instructions about each relic. This is one of the meaningful activities of students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to celebrate the Great Festival.
