The 4th National University Party Congress was a great success

After 3 days of working with a democratic and serious spirit, on the morning of August 13, 2010, the 4th Congress of the Party Committee of VNU ended successfully.In the closing session on the morning of August 13, the 4th Executive Committee of the VNU Party Committee, consisting of 33 comrades, introduced itself to the congress. The results of the first meeting of the 4th VNU Party Committee, held on August 12, 2010, were also announced. Accordingly, the Executive Committee elected the Standing Committee of the VNU Party Committee, term 2010-2015, consisting of 9 comrades. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) was elected to the Standing Committee of the VNU Party Committee, term IV. Prof. Dr. Mai Trong Nhuan (Director of VNU, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, term III) was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the VNU Party Committee, term IV. The positions of Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee are Comrade Nguyen Huu Duc (Vice Director of VNU) and Comrade Phung Xuan Nha (Rector of the University of Economics). Comrade Hoang Van Van (Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell, Head of the Graduate School) holds the position of Chairman of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee. The Congress also unanimously elected a delegation of the Party Committee of VNU, consisting of 4 comrades as official delegates and 1 comrade as alternate delegate to attend the 15th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee. The Congress voted to pass the Congress Resolution with the consensus of 100% of the delegates.
