Meeting with retired cadres on the occasion of the beginning of 2011

On January 22, 2011, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a meeting with retired staff to celebrate the New Year and the Lunar New Year 2011.At the meeting, Associate Professor, People's Teacher Nguyen Quoc Hung - Vice President of the Association of Former Teachers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - reported on some of the typical activities of the association in 2010. In particular, despite their advanced age, many teachers still teach, guide and participate in Master's and Doctoral Thesis Councils, participate in international and national conferences, publish many articles in scientific journals, publish many books and scientific works. In addition, retired cadres also participate in many activities of the branches and Executive Committee of the Association of Former Teachers. On behalf of the school's leadership, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the school - reported on the achievements of the school in the past year. The Principal thanked the contributions of the cadres and civil servants who worked at the school and sent his best wishes for health and a new year to the teachers. The Rector expressed his hope that teachers and staff would continue to pay attention, support and contribute to building the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to be worthy of being one of the leading universities in the country. On this occasion, the University also sent birthday wishes to teachers Nguyen Kim Dinh (Faculty of Literature), Nguyen Thach Giang (Faculty of Vietnamese), and Tran Dang Huan (Faculty of Philosophy).
