Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the School - had a meeting and worked with Mr. Liu Tam Chan - Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Vietnam - and staff of the Cultural Department of the Chinese Embassy on January 27, 2011.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the School - had a meeting and worked with Mr. Liu Tam Chan - Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Vietnam - and staff of the Cultural Department of the Chinese Embassy on January 27, 2011.At the meeting, the two sides focused on discussing the enhancement of academic cooperation between the University and Chinese universities and research institutes, specifically organizing international scientific conferences, exchanging experiences in university management, etc. The representative of the Chinese Embassy said that they will continue to pay attention and help upgrade equipment for classrooms for Chinese students. At the same time, they will increase the introduction of many Chinese students to study Vietnamese language and culture as well as majors in Social Sciences and Humanities at the University; introduce and grant scholarships to students and young staff of the University to study and research at universities in China. On behalf of the University's leaders, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh thanked and expressed his hope that the two sides will have many exchange and cooperation activities in the future. On this occasion, the Chinese Embassy presented the University of Social Sciences and Humanities with 356 books in Chinese and English.
