The Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a training conference on organizing the trade union congress for the 2023-2028 term.

  The conference received the attention, participation and close direction of Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities). In his opening speech, Rector Hoang Anh Tuan highly appreciated the careful and responsible preparation of the Trade Union Executive Committee for the 2023-2028 term Congress which will take place next year. The Trade Union organization plays a very important role in the organizational structure of the University, representing the rights and voices of all workers, accompanying and contributing greatly to the overall success of the University in all aspects. The Congress is a broad and democratic political activity, a festival of cadres and trade union members, so it needs to be carefully and thoughtfully prepared, trade union members must know, understand, and participate in giving opinions, especially on personnel work. With careful preparation and consensus of all trade unions and trade union members, the Congress will certainly take place as planned and be a great success. On behalf of the Trade Union Executive Committee, President of the Trade Union of the School of Medicine Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh emphasized some contents that need attention in organizing the Trade Union Congresses at all levels:
- Time to organize the departmental shareholders' meeting: from February 13 to 28, 2023, the school shareholders' meeting will be held before May 31, 2023
- The political report is carefully prepared, accurately, objectively and comprehensively reflecting the achieved results and identifying the direction, tasks and solutions for the coming term.
- Human resources work: human resources plans must be built according to the correct procedures and regulations of the Trade Union organization.
- The congress approval documents of the departmental unions must be submitted to the School Union Executive Committee for approval at least 7 days before the organization date. Representatives of the departmental unions discussed and pointed out some situations that could occur during the preparation for the congress and during the organization of the congress, as well as shared some characteristics of the operation and personnel situation of their unions, and proposed solutions to increase the effectiveness and practicality of union activities. The opinions were answered by the school's Union Executive Committee, suggesting solutions for handling some specific situations, but also emphasizing: comrades in the departmental Union Executive Committee need to promote a high sense of responsibility, initiative, flexibility and their role in preparing for the congress, closely following the regulations and instructions of the Union, promptly reporting arising situations.
