Opening ceremony of the 2014 part-time university class in Office Administration in Yen Bai.

On February 9, 2015, at the Yen Bai Province Continuing Education Center, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of the 2014 part-time undergraduate course in Office Administration. This is the first course of the part-time undergraduate course in Office Administration since the Hanoi National University officially assigned the training task to the School.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, after congratulating the new students and thanking the Yen Bai Provincial Center for Continuing Education for their close and effective cooperation, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal of the school - affirmed that opening a class in Yen Bai is a continuation of the policy of the Party Committee and the School Board in implementing the social responsibility of the leading university in the fields of social sciences and humanities for the Northwest region in general and Yen Bai province in particular. Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim also emphasized that most of the students in the class are officials of many communes, districts and agencies of Yen Bai province. Being trained in Office Administration not only helps develop the capacity of local officials but also directly contributes to improving the quality of human resources and apparatus of agencies sending officials to study. For that reason, the School assigns the Department of Archival Science and Office Administration the responsibility of organizing training with the best quality, ensuring compliance with current regulations and not only stopping at organizing teaching but also paying attention to helping students understand the industry, current job positions and future career opportunities.

                 

Also at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Anh Thu - Deputy Director of Yen Bai Province Continuing Education Center - congratulated the new students and thanked the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for their attention and support in carrying out the task of training and developing local human resources that the Center had been assigned by the People's Committee of Yen Bai Province, especially with this course, many students from Mong, Dao, Tay, Nung ethnic groups are currently studying as civil servants of mountainous and especially disadvantaged communes of the province.
