At the meeting, Prof. Chung-Sok Suh provided information related to the Korean Studies scholarship program at the University of New South Wales. Accordingly, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will send two qualified staff and lecturers to participate in the scholarship program in one of two ways: register for all majors to study at the University of New South Wales or study Korean Studies in Korea. This is the result of the cooperation document signed by the two sides in 2014. At the same time, Prof. Chung-Sok Suh also invited Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh and a Vietnamese scholar to attend a conference to be held in Korea on September 16-17, 2015. The conference will focus on the topic of relations between Korea and countries belonging to the Association of Korean Studies in Southeast Asia (KoSaSa).

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh highly appreciated the suggestions and support provided by Prof. Chung-Sok Suh. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is committed to effectively utilizing the scholarships provided by the University of New South Wales by selecting qualified and capable candidates. At the same time, the Rector also accepted the invitation to attend the conference with a scholar specializing in Korea.
The leaders of the two sides agreed to increase information and connections between universities that conduct research on Korean studies, seek scholarships and funding sources for research activities, and exchange of lecturers and students between Vietnam and Korea.
