Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh was very pleased to welcome Ms. Calia Wade-Brown and Prof. Roberto Rabel to visit the University. The Rector said that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a leading address for training in social sciences and humanities in Vietnam. Many famous leaders and politicians in Vietnam are alumni of the University. The University has set a goal of continuing to improve the quality of training, research and internationalization of training programs. Therefore, the University hopes to receive support and assistance from foreign partners such as Victoria University of Wellington. In addition, the Rector said that the two sides have had many cooperations in student and lecturer exchanges. Many lecturers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities have had the opportunity to study at Victoria University of Wellington.

Ms. Calia Wade-Brown was very pleased to be warmly welcomed at the USSH. According to her, this event also contributed to the relationship between Vietnam and New Zealand as the two countries are about to celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations. As one of the universities in New Zealand, Victoria University of Wellington also wishes to learn from the USSH. On the occasion of the Vietnamese Lunar New Year, Ms. Calia Wade-Brown sent her best wishes to the President and all staff of the USSH.

During the meeting, the two sides also re-signed the training cooperation agreement signed in 2011. Accordingly, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Victoria University of Wellington will continue to2 + 2 training cooperation program.
