Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh was very pleased to welcome Dr. Tung-Yi Lee. The President said that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a leading address for training in social sciences and humanities in Vietnam. Many famous leaders and politicians in Vietnam are alumni of the University. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi is a leading university in training and research in Chinese studies with leading experts trained at. In 1995, the University established the Department of Chinese Studies under the Faculty of Oriental Studies and conducted training from bachelor to doctoral level in Chinese studies. In 2014, the University also established the Taiwan Education Center to promote cultural exchange, educational cooperation, and language between Vietnam and Taiwan.

Dr. Tung-Yi Lee said that the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office is willing to contribute to promoting cooperation between the University and universities in Taiwan through lecturer and student exchange activities. He also wishes to learn from the University in particular and Vietnam in general. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, Dr. Tung-Yi Lee sent his congratulations to the President and all staff of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and hoped that the relationship between the two sides will continue to develop in the future.
